Liam Sullivan is the comic actor behind LiamShow.com, a collection
of funny short films created by and starring Liam. In 2006, Liam's
musical comedy video "Shoes"
was lifted by a fan and posted on YouTube, where it went viral,
spawning hundreds of remakes by fans and launching Liam's character
Kelly into internet stardom. "Shoes" was selected as a
viral video to watch by "Entertainment Weekly," was chosen
as one of the top 10 videos of 2006 by YouTube, and went on to win
the People's Choice Award for "Favorite User-Generated Video"
of 2007. Liam's official reposting of "Shoes" on YouTube
has received over 16 million views.
Liam released a full Kelly album on iTunes in 2006, and fans have
bought over 200,000 downloads, keeping the title track "Shoes,"
in the Top Ten on iTunes Comedy, consistently sharing a spot among
comedic giants Dane Cook, Adam Sandler and Weird Al Yankovic.
Liam's video "Muffins"
has become another YouTube smash, with his original posting and
fans' re-postings of the video combining for over 20 million views.

Me Borrow That Top," in which Liam plays five of the main

taken his act on tour, performing live and screening new videos
as a headliner at the House of Blues in Las Vegas and L.A., the
Upright Citizens Brigade Theaters in New York and L.A., Bamboozle
in New Jersey and at numerous colleges across the country. Last
fall he performed as Kelly in the off-Broadway hit, The Sensuous

live." Liam is currently on nationwide tour with comedian Margaret
Cho, showcasing new videos and live performances.

Shakespeare to Stoppard. He then moved to Los Angeles, where he
discovered his talent for improv and sketch comedy. He joined the

Liam continues to produce his own videos, and is constantly writing
new material. Watch for new videos, new characters and more insanity
to be introduced on LiamShow.com in 2008. "It's all about having
fun," says Liam. "My videos are provocative and strange,
but mostly, I'm just aiming for hilarious."
Liam's favorite interview ever was with Zach Kaplan from the Austin
College Observer:
"LET'S GO GET SOME SHOES!"
I recently had the opportunity to interview comedian/musician/actor
Liam Sullivan, creator of the character Kelly and her hit song "Shoes"
and co-star of VH1's I Hate My 30's.
Did you do "Shoes"?
Yes.
Are you enjoying the interview so far?
Immensely. Is it over?
Did you know you have an imdb.com page?
Yes. I'm part of the system! It's the cost to be the boss!
Are you related to Liam Neeson?
He is my older brother. That made it much easier for my mother to
remember our names.
Liam Lynch?
He is my younger brother. Mom liked to keep things really simple.
Jet Li?
He is my nemesis.
Do you plan on working with any of these people?
I only will work with people named Liam. Liam Gallagher (who is
totally
related to me too) and I are releasing an album called "Liam
Squared:
MOTHERF***ERS." It's mostly jazz. It's gonna totally rock!
Thomas Jefferson once said, "We hold these truths to be
self-evident." Do you agree or disagree with this statement?
These truths are totally self-evident. I absolutely agree. He made
a good point there. Although you can't argue with Lincoln when he
said, "Four score and seven years ago." That's just some
straight truth shot in your veins.
What about Will Smith? Have you ever met him?
Excuse me? We're besties! We had French toast together on Wednesday.
We talk on the phone until like 2 in the morning sometimes.
Have you seen I Am Legend yet?
They stole my idea! I had that idea when I was in college! I was
really
high!
If yes, don't you think it was cool when Will Smith shot the
zombie? If no, what do you think about Will Smith shooting a zombie
and wouldn't it be cool?
I think Will Smith's best moment was when he punched an alien in
the
face and said, "Welcome to Earth, bitch." That film was
called, Born on the Fourth of July, and it was a masterpiece.
Wasn't Men in Black awesome?
COMPLETELY AWESOME. Who among us does not love David Cross?
Remember the music video for Men in Black?
I'm watching it right now. More David Cross, please!
How much does Will Smith influence your work?
Will Smith is a happy little tree, and I'm Bob Ross. Next question.
Remember Fresh Prince?
Yes. Smell you later!
Do you think that the world would be a better place without
wars?
Best interview question ever.
What was it like to be on Gilmore Girls?
I loved being on the Gilmore Girls. They couldn't get me off them,
IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.
What are the Gilmore Girls like in person?
Scratchy and screamy.
Where do you get your ideas?
I think from the cosmos. Or just my strange brain.
But those two things are made from the same stuff, actually,
aren't they?
OH.
